Art exhibition
We were so pleased to be joined by so many parents and children at our Early Years and Key Stage 1 Art Exhibition.
Key Stage 2 Sports Day
Nursery at Puccinis
Mrs Tinkler’s class had a fantastic time at Puccini’s Restaurant on Tuesday.
We travelled down on the bus, then rolled up our sleeves, cleaned our hands and made our very own pizzas.
Mr Pucci and his staff made us feel so welcome and helped us to create our masterpieces which we then ate. Our parent helpers even got chance to make their own pizzas too! Phoebe managed to eat ALL her pizza! After that we had ice cream, then a wee, then back to school.
We all said thank you to Mr Pucci and his staff and gave them a big clap.
The staff and parents were very proud of all the children who behaved beautifully and were excellent pizza chefs!
Thank you again to our brilliant parent helpers and Puccini’s for a wonderful day.
Sports in Early Years
This morning we had our Nursery sports day and what fantastic weather we had too! The children were very excited to see all the people that had come to watch!

As part of their learning in Design and Technology Year 5 have spent the afternoon baking bread.
They have also spent their ike developing their art project for the school art week in July.
If you go down to the woods today…
Reception had lots of fun on their Gruffalo hunt today at Delamere Forest.
We followed the clues around the forest and searched for the characters from the story.
We had a picnic lunch in the middle of the forest, right next to the Gruffalo.
We also spent time building dens, making nature sticks, completing a Rainbow Nature Hunt and an Outdoor Adventure Hunt!
Calling all golden handwriters
Year 5 explore Ancient Egypt
Year 5 spent the day exploring Manchester Museum on a quest to find out more about the wonders of Ancient Egypt.
Nursery visit PlayKidzz
Nursery Trip
For our trip this year we went to PlayKiddz on Moorside road. It was too far to walk so we got a public bus! We were looking out for a 3 and a 7 (The number 37)!
When we arrived we were greeted with juice and toast, yummy! Even Arthur Ted Ted had a piece!
After that we went upstairs to have a talk with Matthew. He showed us a slideshow and talked about Kareful Kid and Kareless kid, they showed us how to stop, look and listen! We really enjoyed learning all about how to cross the road safely.
After we all had a turn on the carts and crossing the road we still had time for a play in the soft play downstairs!
