On Friday, all our children (Nursery to Year 6) enjoyed a visit from Travelling By Tuba.
Stewart and Chris’ Olympic-themed show provided our children with the opportunitiy to see and hear musical instruments from all over the world. Lots of audience partipation made each show entertaining from start to finish!
On Thursday 25th April, Mrs Dixon’s class performed their assembly for parents, showing all their learning in their recent topic – Brazil. All the children took part, speaking their lines really clearly and enjoying a song AND a Samba dance.

On Thursday 28th March, Miss Sawkins’ class presented their excellent assembly all about Brazil.
We were treated to flights onboard ‘Grosvenor Road Airlines’ to travel around Brazil and learn about all the features of Physical Geography and Human Gepography which the children have learned throughout their topic this term.
Well done to all the children in Y5PS – you were amazing!

On Thursday 21st March, Miss Livesey’s Year 5 class presented their Brazil Assembly to their parents and carers plus Year 4.
They presented a great deal of information which they have learned this term about Brazil, including its geographical features and culture. They even included a Samba dance!
ALL the children contributed to the assembly and made this a very memorable occasion. Well done to eveybody!

Today Miss Livesey’s class presented their assembly on their recent topic – Volcanoes. All the children spoke confidently about their learning and sang their fantastic Volcano Song. Well done to all of you – you were amazing!

Over the half term holiday, 5KW were asked to produce a piece of homework linking to their new Geography topic ‘What’s important about the Rainforest?’
Many of the children produced fantastic pieces of homework, Brooke and Piper particularly impressed us with their models of the layers of the rainforest and the plants and animals found within.
