On Friday, we raised £497.50 for BBC Children In Need through donations from our families – well done everybody and THANK YOU! Children chose to wear fancy dress or brightly coloured clothes and enjoyed some Pudsey-based activities during the day.
To mark Remembrance Day this year, all our classes made a paper poppy wreath and held a minute’s silence at 11am on 11th November.
This week, our Year 5&6 School Council members also visited the Swinton Cenotaph to lay a wreath and wooden crosses on behalf of our school.

Congratulations to our newly appointed School Council, who have been elected by their peers in Key Stage 2. Their first project, to organise the Harvest Collection for Salford Foodbank, was a great success.
They are currently very busy selling the Poppy Appeal items in school and are planning our activities to raise funds for BBC Children In Need – on Friday 19th November. Please look out for their next letter to all parents.
