On Monday, our Year 4 School Council members helped the P.T.A. to draw out the winning tickets for our Christmas Raffle. Our newly-formed Parent Teachers Association were able to offer 74 prizes in total and the support from parents and staff has been amazing over the past three weeks.
THANK YOU very much to all who donated prizes and those who bought tickets – the TOTAL RAISED was an incredible £1247.56!
Our choir has performed Christmas carols and songs out in the community this week.
On Tuesday, we sang for the residents and staff of Wentworth House Care Home; on Thursday, we entertained the shoppers at Morrisons, Swinton.
Over the past two weeks all our children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have performed in a Christmas Sing-a-long or Nativity to parents.
Well done to all our children; they have worked really hard to learn their songs, their actions and their lines – you were all brilliant!
