On Friday 26th April, our KS2 Choir and all the children who have music tuition treated us to a concert. Our children played various instruments – piano, guitar, cornet, trumpet and tenor horn, each performing a piece on their own.
Well done to all our children and thank you to our (very large) audience of parents and families – your support is very much appreciated!
Well done to all our Y5&6 Dance Club members who have enjoyed this term’s after school club with Paige, our dance teacher. Here is one of their Autumn Term dances, performed on Friday 15th December.

These designs will now go to print and be used as the covers for our KS2 planner for the next two academic years. Well done to our competition winners!

All our choir’s hard work in rehearsals over the past few months paid off at our spectacular Young Voices Concert on Friday. We were amongst 8351 children who performed at Manchester Arena as part of ‘The Largest School Choir Concerts in the World’.
We are extremely proud of our children’s fantastic singing, their super dance moves and their impeccable behaviour during the rehearsal and concert at the Arena. Here are some photographs and video from our amazing day – a truly memorable experience for all of us!
On Wednesday, our Junior Choir helped to brightened the day for the residents of Wentworth House Care Home. We performed our Christmas songs and had a singalong of traditional carols with the residents and their families. Thank you once again to Mrs Brooks and all the staff at Wentworth for making us feel so welcome. We had a lovely afternoon!
Our Year 2 children’s performance today was brilliant! Well done to all of the children and thank you to everyone who came to watch this morning – your support is very much appreciated.

We had a lovely afternoon and our audience was very appreciative; the residents especially enjoyed our song ‘Hey Mr Miller’ which is in the style of Glenn Miller!
On Thursday we welcomed Chris and Stewart from Travelling By Tuba into school with their wide array of instruments. All our children were given the opportunity to experience an assembly or a workshop by the talented duo who entertain us, whilst teaching key musical knowledge.
