Year 5PS’ Class Assembly
On Friday 23rd June, Miss Sawkins’ class presented their recent learning in an assembly for their parents and our Year 3 children. All children in 5PS contributed to an excellent assembly about The Amazon Rainforest.
Well done to all of 5PS and thank you very much to those family members who were able to join us to support them.

Year 5HT’s Class Assembly
On Thursday 15th June, Miss Taylor’s class presented their recent learning in an assembly for their parents and our Year 2 children. All children in 5HT contributed to an informative and entertaining assembly about The Amazon Rainforest – well done to all of you and thank you very much to those family members who were able to join us to support them.

Year 4’s Trip to The Catalyst Musem
On Thursday 15th June, Year 4 visited The Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum in Widnes.
This term, they been learning about solids, liquids and gases and the human body in Science.  At the museum, they took part in two exciting workshops ‘Tasty Toothpastes’ and ‘Glorious Gases’ as well as visiting the interactive exhibits throughout the museum.
Reception’s Trip to Delamere Forest
Year 3’s Trip to Salford Museum
On Thursday 8th and Friday 9th June, our Year 3 children visited Salford Museum to learn more about life in Victorian times.
The children completed a variety of workshops/activities and dressed up as Victorian children to explore Lark Hill Place – the Victorian street under the museum. Here are photographs from their trip –
Nursery’s Trip to Smithills Open Farm
On Wednesday 7th June, our Nursery children visited Smithills. They had a wonderful day at the farm – they had a donkey ride and a tractor ride, fed the sheep, goats and alpacas and were able to meet and hold several other animals.

Year 1’s Trip to RHS Bridgewater
On Friday 26th May, our Year 1 children visited the beautiful gardens at RHS Bridgewater. They took part in various activities throughout the day including den building, artwork and identifying the various plants, trees, insects & scents found in the different areas of the gardens. They also really enjoyed playing in the sunshine at the Woodland Play Area!
